ABSTRACT
A robust and accurate method development using UV-spectroscopy and RP-HPLC has been established for the simultaneous estimation of Cefpodoxime Proxetil (CEF) and Clavulanate Potassium (CLA). The UV-spectroscopy methods employed absorbance ratio, multi-component, and simultaneous equation approaches, while the RP-HPLC method provided a chromatographic separation. The proposed methods offer simplicity, precision, and sensitivity, making them suitable for routine analysis of these two important pharmaceutical ingredients. The results highlight the applicability and reliability of the developed methods, aiding in quality control and pharmacokinetic studies of CEF and CLA formulations.
